They say love can happen anywhere — at school, at work, even online. Ours? It started at Chapel of Glory, Ajax — on a regular Sunday in March 2024.

She had just moved to Canada, and there she was, new, radiant, and quietly taking in her surroundings. I (being the friendly gentleman I am 😎) welcomed her after the service. That simple act of hospitality was the first chapter of something divine.

We became friends — good friends. We talked, laughed, and shared life every Sunday. As the months went by, I realized I wasn't just enjoying her company… I was falling for her.

By October, after fasting, prayer, and reflection, I knew this wasn't "just friendship" anymore — it was something deeper. So I sent the message on October 22. I wanted to use her birthday as our first date. She said no. 😅 But I wasn't discouraged — she's worth waiting for.

I tried again (and again 😅). Eventually she agreed to a date in November — and that day, everything changed. We laughed, talked, and connected like we had known each other for years.

On December 23, 2024, we made it official. The more I got to know her, the more I knew she was the one — beautiful, intelligent, hardworking, prayerful, and spiritually strong.

Then, on September 6, 2025, at the beautiful Oshawa Botanical Gardens, I got down on one knee and popped the question. She said YES! 💍

Our love story #OhimaisBlessing

I met my darling, Ohimai Musa in March 2024, on a beautiful Sunday in Chapel of Glory, Ajax (COGA). Our connection was instantaneous — it was easy to talk with him.

We connected intellectually talking about our YouTube channels, learning French, and everything random. That was our first meeting.

How We Progressed:
Every other Sunday, I looked forward to saying hello. We were happy to see each other and gist about the week and everything random. 😅 For months, we were good friends who looked forward to our ‘small talk’ every Sunday.

How I knew He Was The One:
In October 2024, we were divinely connected. I remember that day vividly — October 20, 2024. Important people in our lives introduced us, and that became the turning point of our ‘small talk’ friendship.

I prayed to God about him in November 2024, and He was faithful to answer me. I knew Ohimai was the one — we share many things in common, we love the same things that matter, and most importantly, we love the LORD.

The Journey So Far:
He reached out that week in October 2024 and we began chatting — and we haven’t stopped since. On December 23, 2024, he asked me to be his girl and I said yes, with joy.

On September 6, 2025, my darling asked me to marry him — and I said… YES!!! He’s a gentleman with a great heart; he is kind and he loves me, and I love him too.

Our Journey Continues:
We look forward to greater things that the LORD would do for us and through us. And I look forward to spending the rest of my life with my darling, mon chéri d'amour, Deacon Ohimai Musa. ❤️
